s.no.
Practical islaam

( note: there are many ways to describe the word islaam, i will try to describe with difference of theory islaam and practical islaam)
1-it is the path given by prophets from first man on earth,
2-it is the like, live life better and make other person life better at the same time.
3-mostly in present world, islaam is describe in two major way , that is , the person who talk about islaam, i mean the muslim who only talk about islaam is known as munafeequn, the muslim who talk and perform practical is known as mumin.  So i m trying to elaborate the two different character of muslim, who is called as munafeequn and mumeen, so the person who is munafeequn can be identified and washed out, and mumeen can be saved and flourished.

Practical islaam = mumeen or mumeenun
Theory islaam= munafeq or munafeequn

A Dialogue Between A Muwahhid And A Munafiq
Rabi-ul-Awal 04, 1433 A.H, Saturday, January 28, 2012
Here is a light dialogue between al-Haq (Muwahhid) and al-Bathil (Munafiq) about the urgency of Jihad fie sabilillah. This dialogue will show how this Munafiq wants to twist the meaning of Jihad to become ambiguous, however the Muwahhid was able to hit back and straighten things out with answers that are very intelligent sourced from Al-Qur’an and Al-Hadith. Hope this dialogue can educate and open the hearts of those who hate jihad, Insha Allah.
****
[Munafiq]
“Do you know about Jihad fie sabilillah ?”

[Muwahhid]
We're not going to answer it by rationality, we'll answer it as how Rasulullah answered when the Sahabahs asked about it:

“What is the best hijrah?” He answered, “Al Jihad Fie sabilillah”, they asked, “What is jihad, O Rasulullah?” He answered, “Fighting the Kuffar if you meet them (at war)”. They asked, “What is the best jihad?” He answered, “The one whose horse is slain and his blood is spilled”. (Musnad Imam Ahmad)

In another narration, the Sahabah asked, “Which is the best (condition) of getting killed?” Rasulullah answered, “A person whose blood is spilled and his horse is slain.” (Abu Daud)

Hence, no man is able to say that the best jihad is seeking knowledge and so on, but the best jihad is getting killed. Also in the narration of Bukhari and Muslim, Rasulullah said:

“Go and return to the battlefield for Allah, it's better than the world and all its contents and the best Ghazwa is when his blood is spilled and his horse is slain.”

[Munafiq]
But our time today is not the same as in the past, where there was a Khilafah and so on, today there is no jihad with the swords, but today it is jihad with the pens, satellites and so on, through economics, voting and so on… We have to build the infrastructure of the Ummah before we go to war.

[Muwahhid]
The reason why we must fight today is because Allah commands us:

“So fight, [O Muhammad], in the cause of Allah ; you are not held responsible except for yourself. And encourage the believers [to join you] that perhaps Allah will restrain the [military] might of those who disbelieve. And Allah is greater in might and stronger in [exemplary] punishment.” (QS An-Nisaa: 84)

Allah makes it clear that we only have to strive and Allah will next determine the result. Stopping the jihad and preventing the Mujahideen or discouraging the people from fighting is the character of the Munafiqun. Allah Ta’ala says:

“So when you meet those kuffar [in battle], strike [their] necks….” (QS Muhammad 47: 4)

Allah does not say, when you are encountering the enemy, “seek knowledge” or “build the infrastructure”, but Allah commands us to fight them.

Furthermore, Allah commands us to call towards goodness and prevent munkar. A form of calling towards goodness and preventing munkar is to call on people to perform solat, fasting, helping the needy, etc., and among the things which has been agreed upon by the Ulama's is:

“There is none that can match the jihad fie sabilillah (when it becomes fardhu ‘ain)”

At the time when jihad becomes fardhu ‘ain, it is even above solat, zakat, hajj and all other ibaadahs, when we are fighting in a defensive jihad, jihad is our solat, we cannot stop the jihad even for solat, so how can we stop the jihad on the aim of seeking knowledge?

[Munafiq]
We cannot conduct jihad; if we have debts, pay the debt first.

[Muwahhid]
In the defensive jihad we do not need to pay the debt, Imam Ibnu Qudama Al Maqdisi in Al-Mughni volume 9, said:

“If jihad becomes Fardhu ‘ain, he does not have to ask permission from the person who gives him loans, that was the text of Imam Ahmad, from Ibnu Abbas, “If jihad becomes fardhu, 'ain he does not need to seek permission from the people who lent him the debt.”

[Munafiq]
Accomplish Solat first.

[Muwahhid]
Solat is an obligation and leaving it is kufr, but when jihad becomes fardhu ‘ain, it becomes more important than solat, the Imams of the four madzhab agreed that solat is fardhu, fasting is fardhu, zakat is fardhu, but when jihad becomes fardhu ‘ain, it is more important than all of the other ibaadahs, but he should be doing it as much as possible if he can do it, Imam Ahmad in fact said:

“If the enemies come, then during the time he is fighting, he is not responsible for all other obligations until the enemies stop.”

Imam Qurtubi said:

“It is a duty upon the Imam to keep conquering the enemies every year…”

Ibnu Katsir said:

“We must fight the kuffar, who are the nearest until we walk to come to them.”

Allah says:

“O you who have believed, fight those adjacent to you of the disbelievers.” (At-Tawbah : 123)

This has implications, if the enemies enter our country, they are very near to us, then we must fight against them, if they do not enter the Muslim countries but the government is declaring Kufr Bawah (Clear Blasphemy), they are the enemies who are the nearest to us. Then, if there is a Khilafah, the nearest enemies are the Kuffar who are outside the boundary of a country who do not have an agreement with us.

[Munafiq]
Why do we fight (go to war)?

[Muwahhid]
Because we are not Munafiqun and someone who does not go to war is a Munafiq, Prophet Muhammad SAW said:

“Whosoever dies without participating in an expedition (Jihad) nor having the intention to do so, dies on a branch of Nifaq (hypocrisy).”

And if we do not say so, Allah says:

“If you do not fight, He will punish you severely.”

Rasulullah said:

“Someone who does not fight, nor making preparation for the people who fight, nor looking after the families of those who fight, Allah will send him an adzab until the judgment day.”

[Munafiq]
After jihad, what do you do as a substitute? We need engineers, doctors, etc.

[Muwahhid]
We need engineers to build buildings, but it becomes unimportant if the Kuffar are still killing Muslims, Allah says:

“So fight, [O Muhammad], in the cause of Allah ; you are not held responsible except for yourself. And encourage the believers [to join you] that perhaps Allah will restrain the [military] might of those who disbelieve. And Allah is greater in might and stronger in [exemplary] punishment.” (QS An Nisaa, 4: 84)

Allah never commands us to terrify the Kuffar with the titles, status and education, Allah says:

“And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows.” (QS Al-Anfal, 8: 60)

Verse 2
The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel a fear in their hearts and when His Verses (this Qur’an) are recited unto them, they (i.e. the Verses) increase their Faith; and they put their trust in their Lord (Alone);

Benefits taken from the Ayah:

•We see the characteristics in ayah are mainly to do the actions of the heart (Fear, Trust, increase of Faith), this teaches us a major rule that we must concentrate on the actions of our hearts and see that if it really feels fear of Allah when He his mentioned and does it (our heart) really have Trust (Tawakkul) in Allah

إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ “The believers are only those who” According to this ayah the believers have 4 main qualities:
1)They Obey Allah and His Messenger
2)Their hearts tremble when the name of Allah is mentioned
3)Their faith increases when the words of Allah (the Qur’an) are recited to them
4)They put their Trust (Tawakkul) in Allah Alone

•إِذَا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ “those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel a fear in their hearts” this is sign of a strong believer who has a close relationship with their Rabb and is constantly aware of Allah

وَجِلَتْ “feel a fear” - Wajl is to have a fear that penetrates deep in your heart. It is a fear in which a person trembles and shivers. The word “mawjil”, from the same root, is a depressed ground for a large deep hole. When you come upon a huge hole in the ground out of nowhere, you are immediately shaken with fear.
This is how Allah describes the hearts of the believers; they are immediately overwhelmed and the fear of Him penetrates deep into their hearts

وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ “feel a fear in their hearts” it is a feeling of fear that fill’s the believers heart when Allah’s name is mentioned in connection with any duty of the Deen (e.g. Allah prescribed Salah, Zakah, Hajj and Jihad and so on for us). The believer feels Allah’s Greatness and His Majesty and he remembers Allah’s greatness and sees how imperfect he (the servant) really is and realizes how much he is in need of Allah

•The heart is of 3 types:
1)The Sound Heart is alive, submitted to Allah, humble, sensitive and aware - In defining the healthy heart, the following has been said: "It is a heart cleansed from any passion that challenges what Allah commands, or disputes what He forbids. It is free from any impulses which contradict His good. As a result, it is safeguarded against the worship of anything other than Him, and seeks the judgement of no other except that of His Messenger

2)The Dead Heart is Hard and Dead - This is the opposite of the healthy heart. It does not know its Lord and does not worship Him as He commands, in the way which He likes, and with which He is pleased. It clings instead to its lusts and desires, even if these are likely to incur Allah's displeasure and wrath. It worships things other than Allah

3)The Diseased Heart wavers between safety and destruction - This is a heart with life in it, as well as illness. The former sustains it at one moment, the latter at another, and it follows whichever one of the two manages to dominate it. It has love for Allah, faith in Him, sincerity towards Him, and reliance upon Him, and these are what give it life. It also has a craving for lust and pleasure, and prefers them and strives to experience them

•When the true believers hear, mentions or study about Allah and His Beautiful Names and Attributes it brings a fear in their hearts and it make them humble themselves in front of Him

وَإِذَا تُلِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُهُ زَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَانًا “and when His Verses (this Qur’an) are recited unto them, they (i.e. the Verses) increase their Faith” the scholars use this ayah as a proof that Iman Increases and Decreases

•Ways to Increase your Iman:
1)Repenting to Allah – by supplicating to Him for forgiveness, as Allah says

" And (commanding you): "Seek the forgiveness of your Lord, and turn to Him in repentance, that He may grant you good enjoyment, for a term appointed, and bestow His abounding Grace to every owner of grace (i.e. the one who helps and serves needy and deserving, physically and with his wealth, and even with good words). But if you turn away, then I fear for you the torment of a Great Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)."

2)Contemplating His Book - For nothing helps the recovery of the heart except the Book of Allah Mighty and Sublime

3)Regularly performing your obligatory prayers in congregation - for Allah guaranteed the one who guards his obligatory prayers in congregation that he will neither abandon him, nor humiliate him, and that He will guard him in this world and the next.

4)Regularly performing As-Sunan Ar-Rawatib (acts of Sunnah that were stressed and regularly performed by the Prophet Sallallahu alayhi was sallam) - and doing plenty of them, for whenever you prostrate to Allah with a prostration, He raises your level.

5)Accompanying and loving the righteous - The Prophet Sallallahu alayhi was sallam said "The person is with one he loves." The Prophet Sallallahu alayhi was sallam said: “A man will follow the religion of his close friend, so let each of you look to who he takes a close friend.”

6)Knowing that Allah watches over us and He knows what you hide and what you make apparent – Allah says
"And whether you keep your talk secret or disclose it, verily, He is the All-Knower of what is in the breasts (of men).Does He who created not know, while He is the Subtle, the Acquainted?"

•The true believers when they hear the Qur’an not only does it increase them in Iman but indeed when they also recite it, it also put them to tears out of humbleness in front of Allah, like how Imam An-Nawawi rahimuhullah said: Crying when reading the Qur’an is a characteristic of those who know Allah (know Him through His Names and Attributes) and the feelings of the righteous

وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ “and they put their trust in their Lord (Alone);” - Tawakkul is one the greatest acts of worship that is done by the heart. Whoever has Tawakkul upon other than Allah, has committed Shirk in worship. Those who have Tawakkul upon Allah obey their prophet and do Hijrah from the Kuffar will be given Allah’s victory.

وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ and they put their trust in their Lord (Alone);” - means that they depend upon Him, entrust to Him their matters, only have hope in Him, and only have Him as their intention

•Levels of Tawakkul:
1)Trust in Allah by knowing Him - His Names and Attributes and trust the fact that everything in the heavens and earth is His possession

2)Believe with all your heart that what you ask Him for, you will receive; Allah has full power to grant it.

3)Know that you should make full efforts of your own to obtain what you want and then rely fully upon Him

4)Things that are not in your hands or ability, put those affairs with Allah. Surrender to Him with love and devotion and feel your burdens ease.

5)The Believer should have a good opinion of Allah. He should have 'Certainty' concerning this - that Allah will make you successful in what is best for you. The Prophet Sallallahu alayhi was sallam said: 'Allah said: 'I am as My servant thinks of Me.' meaning if you have a honored opinion of Allah, then Allah will make you successful. But if you have a negative opinion of Allah, then it is possible He may give you something you won't like as a test to sharpen your faith

6)That the person leaves his affairs totally to Allah and that he is content with what Allah decrees and with what Allah decides, before the results come down.
